KOH KER Heritage Trail was a resounding success!

Congratulations on the first anniversary of KOH KER Temple's listing as a World Heritage Site, and well done to all the 929 runners who participated in this incredible running event!

ULS and our project, Rose Apple Square, were thrilled to have participated in this incredible event organized by the RUN WITH SAI team.

On the morning of 22nd September, 929 runners collectively celebrated the 1st anniversary of Koh Ker Temple enlisted as one of the World Heritage.

The KOH KER Heritage Trail was a one-of-a-kind marathon where runners ran through incredible views of the KOH KER temple, or as we would like to say, “this is a run through history.” The run took place on the 22nd of September from Siem Reap to KOH KER Temple. It was divided into three different distances to accommodate different levels of runners – 9km, 17km, and 35km.

The lush, green scenery along the trail offered runners an unforgettable experience while they raced through history.

The KOH KER Heritage Trial showcased KOH KER Temple's beauty and history while uniting a passionate community of runners. We thank the participants, organizers, volunteers, and supporters for making this event successful. We look forward to more exciting collaborations in the future.
