Major Tourism Boost Plans in Siem Reap

Last month, PhoenixLab Asia organized One Vision, One Siem Reap, between ULS, IPS Cambodia, and IPS Siem Reap at Rose Apple Square Auditorium. The event, attended by esteemed guests including H.E. Yun Linne and many industry leaders, mirrored the collaborative spirit among participants.

[From left to right], Adam Fitzpatrick, Country Director of IPS Cambodia; Philip Kao, President of Siem Reap Tourism Club; Katrine Solhaug of Babel Hotels; David Granger of IPS Siem Reap; Chris Varin of Confluences; Sophany Mao of SPOONS, and Phloeun Prim of Artisans Angkor during the discussion at One Vision, One Siem Reap Forum.

During the event, H.E. Yun Linne shared plans to transform Siem Reap into a go-to destination for traveling and living. The plan includes developing areas around Siem Reap River and Wat Bo, making them the third major attraction after Angkor Archaeological Park and Pub Street. Additionally, a green campaign to plant more trees in various areas was launched to enhance the city’s quality of living and economic potential.

Over 150 attendees joined the inaugural event at the Rose Apple Square auditorium

These improvements aim to make Siem Reap the most desirable destination for visiting and living. They will attract tourists, generate jobs, and create more investment opportunities in various sectors.

We are excited to announce that our auditorium at Rose Apple Square is available for hosting events. For inquiries or bookings, please contact puthikacheab@siemreapacademy.org
