Daniel is a San Francisco Bay Area native whose professional journey began with art but transitioned into structural engineering shortly after. As a licensed civil engineer in the state of California, Daniel specialized in the seismic design of building structures. Since venturing abroad in 2014, he has worked on projects in Nepal, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Philippines, all of which inform his holistic understanding of Asia's thriving construction industry and the real estate development sector that guides it.
As an advocate for both environmental and social sustainability, Daniel believes, "An individual's hierarchy of needs should be what guides the development of our communities, with steel, timber, and concrete being applied only as a supplement.
